Baroona Dairy Farm Cottage is a self-contained one-bedroom cottage for two, newly renovated from the original dairy building on a working rural property at Nabiac, in the Mid North Coast of New South Wales.

What's nearby

Nabiac sits between the water and the mountains. Nine Mile Beach and Forster are about 20 to 25 minutes east. Wallis Lake is closer again. Head west and you're into the Barrington Tops in around an hour, or south to the wineries and oyster leases around the Karuah and Manning rivers.

Closer to home there's the Nabiac markets, the Motorcycle Museum, and a handful of good bakeries within a short drive.

What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 3pm and check-out is 10am. Self check-in with a lockbox, so late arrivals are fine — just let us know roughly when you expect to get here.
Can we bring our dog?
No, sorry. It is a working farm with livestock and working dogs, so pets can't stay at the cottage.
Is there wifi?
Yes. The cottage has its own dedicated Starlink with wifi, fast enough for streaming and video calls.
Will my phone work out there?
Yes, there is mobile coverage and the wifi also handles calls over Whatsapp or FaceTime.
Where are the nearest shops?
Nabiac village is about 5 minutes away with a Foodworks, general store, bakery, pub and cafes. The nearest full supermarket is at Tuncurry or Taree, roughly 25 to 30 minutes.
Is there a minimum stay?
